I installed the Apex springs and the AEK aluminum trigger in my SD9VE and information technology did lighten the trigger pull by almost iii pounds. (I have not checked the actual weight I'one thousand just going past the feel of it) It is very smooth.

I don't believe that the extensions are for sale even so simply were released to a few people to test.

At that place is a extension for the mags but its a prototype, not in product yet but a few members hither were given testing peices.

Polishing gives a smoother pull and a better phase for precise shots and it reduces future vesture. Polishing tge feed ramp allows meliorate feeding of rounds and less futurity jamming, i polished my whole barrel to reduce any friction with blowback and lockup.

People accept said polishing will void warrenTy but it seems South&W CS differs per example and results are different also. If you want a definite answer i would call S&W to hear it for yourself and decide wether to proceed or not, i did and Im very happy.

I installed the apex bound kit in my sd40ve. It went from an 8lb pull down to a 6 lb pull. It is much better than manufactory. Its lighter, maybe a piddling smoother, its all the same just as long every bit it was, I wouldn't call it "crisp" at all. I did the lite polishing as described in the video. I dont see how that little fleck of polishing could possibly void a warranty. If you haven't watched the install video on the Apex website, you need to do and then. I dont think you volition be disappointed with the leap kit.

I have the spring kit and the Polymer-AET Trigger installed in my SD9VE. I also polished the feed ramp and the trigger bar where it connects with the sear and the striker block. The result is a smooth trigger pull of slightly higher up 6 lbs with no over travel at all. The +3 mag extensions are in beta examination phase . Equally soon every bit they are up for sale I'm sure you will notice them on the Apex website. I think that polishing of the internals only void your warranty if you lot disassemble the gun farther than you would practise for normal cleaning and maintenance. But to be sure cheque with S&Due west CS. If y'all are going to polish keep in heed that yous don't desire to remove material just friction.

Wow your guy's pulls still up in that location with everything. Mine has everything installed except i take a M&P AEK trigger in mine (had information technology in before Apex released the AET Trigger) and GP SS 20lbs guide rod. The noon spring kit and polished every metal part on the gun. I also employ dry graphite lube on my striker, gets cleaned and reapplied every use. My pull sits at 4lbs 12ounces and i can experience exactly where to stage the trigger before it breaks, and it does like a glass rod.

Ive asked this question earlier and accept received no real answer. Has anyone tried the galloway precision search leap with the apex kit? I believe it may reduce the pull further but didnt know if it cuased light strikes.

I rec'd the Apex polymer SD AET and replaced the stock trigger, it'due south the but modification whatever to my SD9-VE to the workings of the gun. I'1000 liking it so far...dry fire only...for existent hopefully this weekend. I like the differences even if I can't articulate what they are yet. It works even keeping the stock/no springjob pull on information technology. Kind of...fine touch but with less fanfare as the whole pull mechanic happens with more precision but in less pull distance at one time. The "roll" putting english language-on-my-pull bargain I developed forth with using very close to the middle-tip to articulate the trigger....none of that is needed anymore. Although I did get rather good with decision-making the pull, I guess if I adopt information technology the hard way I can replace it, simply that'south not gonna happen. This trigger feels just well-nigh equally good equally my friend'southward H&K USP Tactical .forty stock trigger. Any that ways, but that is a really damn nice gun (and trigger).

Default SD40VE noon leap and trigger installation

I installed the spring kit first and felt some improvement in the amount of pull just still was not satified with the trigger functioning. I ordered the apex trigger and installed it today. The spring installation was a drop in functioning following the apex video. The trigger installation required some modification. The rear of the trigger required some extensive filing to get the pistol to fire. After completing the filing, I am very satisfied and highly recommend installing the spring kit and trigger replacement.

Just thought that if anyone who is installing the apex polymer trigger, all there is to it, is to punch out the pin that secures the manufacturing plant trigger to the sear, and the apex goes right on with no, problem. Also, you might like to know my SD9VE is brand, new I have had it maybe two mos. the Apex trigger dropped right in without whatsoever alterations.

I accept a sw9f and have both the trigger and spring kit installed in it for awhile now. It made a globe of difference to mine. The pull went from over 8lb (10lb is a guess considering my trigger scale goes to 8lbs and I had to pull "alot" more to take the trigger release) and was gritty. Now it is smooth and breaks at five.2lbs. The trigger reduced the takeup by at least 20% and there is no noticeable over travel now. Hither is a pic.

just installed my new polymer trigger merely the only thing I notice is I file to much off. it fires with no trouble simply in that location a little flake of over travel. so my question is should I get some other one and exist more conscientious almost file or the over travel won't make that much differents?

I currently have the Galloway Spring kit with the updated sear spring. I LOVE information technology!!! I kept the original striker spring. I'thousand not sure what the pull weight is, only it'south very smoothen. I likewise polished up all the contact points as well.

Starting time time out, information technology actually caught me off guard on how sensitive it was. Just, subsequently a few rounds I got used to it and its comparable to a Glock 19, but cleaner.
